However, the prevention and control of the pandemic has become a new normal in China that trade shows re-opened gradually in many cities, assisting in the revitalization of the market, reports show management.
The Xiamen Stone Fair Organizing Committee has announced that the 2020 edition of the international stone exhibition will not be held this fall. Originally scheduled for March 16th to 19th, show management pushed the dates to October 27th to 30th due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Upon further consideration, with the pandemic still going on, the difficult decision was recently made to postpone the show until 2021.
Cloud Xiamen Stone Fair was successfully launched on June 6. It is a B2B-oriented online platform enabling product showcase, business negotiation and information exchange. Cloud Xiamen Stone Fair gathers over 2,000 exhibitors from 57 countries and regions in 8 exhibition areas, providing global buyers with a vast range of products from natural stone, artificial stone to machinery and tools.

The next edition is confirmed for 2021.
Cevisama, the international trade fair for the ceramic tile and associated industries, bathroom furnishings and natural stone, welcomed a total of 92,435 visitors to its latest edition, which ran from 3rd to 7th February at Feria Valencia. The figure is 1.4% up on for the previous year’s event. 21,364 of these visitors were international professionals, who had travelled from 156 different countries, an increase in itself of 5.86% on 2019 and an unprecedented figure in the 38-year history of the foremost platform for Spain’s ceramic tile industry.
With the presence of 240 exhibiting brands, Vitoria Stone Fair Marmomac Latin America 2020 opened its doors on Tuesday. The opening ceremony was attended by important businessmen, politicians and authorities, such as the deputy governor of the State, Jacqueline Moraes; the president of the Brazilian Association of the Ornamental Stones Industry (Abirochas), Reinaldo Dantas; of secretaries of state; the director of the National Mining Agency (ANM), Débora Toci Puccini, among others.
Due to the novel coronavirus outbreak in China, we attach great importance to the health and safety of all guests attending Xiamen Stone Fair 2020. As such, based on the current situation for the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus spread, the decision was made by the organizing committee that Xiamen Stone Fair 2020, originally scheduled on March 16-19 in Xiamen, will be postponed to June 6-9, 2020.
