The expanded Regional Training and Workshop programs are designed to provide practical hands-on education to tile professionals at every level.

The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) is proud to announce its December lineup of workshops and regional training sessions, capping off a successful year of educational outreach. The NTCA will host 15 workshops and four regional training sessions across 11 states in December, continuing its mission to elevate the tile industry through hands-on learning opportunities.

Jeff Occhipinti of Columbia River Tile & Stone in Portland, OR, has been named the 2024 Residential Tile Setter Craftsperson of the Year by the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA). The award, announced at the Total Solutions Plus (TSP) conference in Boston, MA, recognizes a tile professional for their dedication, craftsmanship and industry leadership. Occhipinti will receive the award at the Ambassador Reception on January 27, 2025, during The International Surface Event (TISE) in Las Vegas, NV.

Juan “Junior” Mercado from Christian Brothers Flooring & Interiors has been named the 2024 Commercial Tile Setter Craftsperson of the Year by the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA).
