Two years ago, Dal-Tile Corporation branched out to include quartz surfacing in its extensive line-up of product offerings by building a plant in Dickson, TN
In the last quarter of 2018, Dal-Tile Corporation, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, a global leader in the flooring industry, opened a new fac ility in Dickson, TN, to produce quartz surfacing products.
As a large global producer of natural stone products, Pokarna Limited, which was founded in 1991 by Gautam Chand Jain, the company’s chairman and managing director, branched out in 2009 with the development of its quartz brand, Quantra.
Advances in technology continue to push innovation in the production of quartz materials. Natural characteristics, including texture, veining and color, have improved to the point where they realistically mimic the look and feel of natural stone.
