In more than 200 individual meetings with their representatives and senators, builders discussed several key housing issues.

Initiated by the Natural Stone Institute, an open discussion took place among industry members to address current issues pertaining to the stone industry

In response to information from its tile industry colleagues in the Ukraine, the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) and the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA) have launched a fundraiser for Save the Children’s humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, and the region, to help protect and support children and their families.

Members of the tile, stone and flooring industries united at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centerin Las Vegas, NV, from February 1 to 3, 2022 for The International Surface Event (TISE).

The Stone Theater – sitting in the heart of the show floor at StonExpo – provided an arena for a plethora of education during the three-day event, which was held from February 1 to 3, 2022 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Among the diverse range of sessions that took place was the “Economic Forecast for the Countertop Industry,” which was presented by Jon Lancto of Big Fish Consulting and Klint Olsen of GranQuartz.

Brett Rugo (Rugo Stone) has received the 2021 Migliore Award for Lifetime Achievement. 

Stone World honored its Fabricator of the Year at a presentation held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in the Natural Stone Pavilion. The 2021 recipient is Joe Duszka of Carolina Custom Surfaces in Greensboro, NC.
