Since inception, TAB has been a name to be reckoned with in the field of cut-to-size projects. The company has successfully supplied a variety of projects to some of the most reputed and iconic structures all over the world.
When the Princes first opened their business in 1988, they focused primarily on solid surface countertops. However, as technology advanced and trends began to evolve, the couple shifted their focus to accommodate the growing sector.
Cutting Edge Countertops of Perrysburg, OH, was established in 2006 by Brad Burns, Brian Burns and Jeff Erickson, all of whom are still active in the business today. From the start, their mission was to create a countertop company that delivered quality products with exceptional customer service.
In the 1990s, Val Blasius created a reputation as a ceramic tile and Corian countertop installer in the Vassar, MI area. The business continued to prosper until he was bringing in more work than he could handle. His son, Jon, was in the remodeling industry at the time, doing tile and Corian countertops out of the same shop.
Establishing their business in 2005, Maryla and Darek Bosek first started under the name Fortune Estates. Back then, they rented a 2,000-square-foot space in Franklin Park, IL, and opened a granite countertops production shop.
Artisan Group welcomes new members Summit Stone Works in Buda, TX, and True Blue in San Antonio and Austin, as well as welcoming back previous member Lakeside Surfaces Inc. based in Western Michigan, making the group of independent countertop fabricators nearly 35 strong.
