Carme Riera, President of the Judging Panel, member of the Spanish Royal Academy, and Professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona announced the winner on 5th March.
This new business unit will be led by Paco Martínez-Cosentino Alfonso, who will become Global Head of Digital Business. The Digital Business Unit (DBU) will globally lead all of the company’s digital business initiatives, previously split between the Strategy, Marketing, and Systems teams. This new business unit also encompasses the management of the Salesforce functions within the company, the management of the CBU (Business Strategy Consultant) department, and will implement new strategies, such as the Call Centre strategy for potential customers and prospects.
The Natural Stone Institute has provided natural stone and fabrication services for another home through the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment). Continuing the trend of strengthening West Coast coverage and customer service with several new sales associates and a new fulfillment center, BB Industries has added stone industry veteran Emilio Perez to the team. Perez will service customers in Northern California, up to the Sacramento market. He has been in the industry for decades, working for GranQuartz and Hard Rock Stone Works, and most recently with Columbia Stone Products.
