The Natural Stone Institute will host a webinar “Using Natural Stone in Commercial Architecture” on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. ET. 

Svetlana McCaw, a Canadian artist, designer and photographer living in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, speaks about designing and patenting her own tile patterns.

Using a pool in the backyard of a seafront residence in Jávea, Spain, artist Felipe Pantone created a large-scale work of art featuring a clever play on color, light and water with mosaic tile from Onix.

Originally constructed for the Erie Railroad, the Starrucca Viaduct completion was in 1848. The Bluestone structure stretches 1,040 feet long, rises 100 feet high and expands 25 feet wide at the top. 

Characterized by a vintage style with contemporary colors, the Betonmetal and Betonbrick collections from Terratinta Ceramiche, a brand of Terratinta Group, Italy, was the perfect choice for the design of The Place Bike Hub, which in Aosta connects the past and present.

Designed by architect Mario Santini, a home remodel in Verona, Italy, is a stunning showcase of natural stones from Antolini.

The design for the kitchen at Boyce Residence in Huntsville, AL -- featuring natural stone from Antolini -- won the Pinnacle Award of Excellence, a prize awarded by the Natural Stone Institute. 

A variety of tile from Refin was used throughout the design of the new Hotel Dimora degli Dei in the Italian Alps.

A New Jersey designer took time to discuss her preferences for designing with stone and tile in both residential and commercial applications.
