Rick Self started his path in the stone industry in 1999 with an impulsive purchase of a Flow Waterjet – no knowledge, no customers, no contacts, no real thought going in.
In a small town in New Jersey, one of the area’s first marble shops opened its doors. It was 1978 and the shop was called Romano and Son, named after its Italian owner, Olivero Romano, and his son, Paolo.
Well, we made it through January, which especially here in the Northeast is usually a long and dreary month. Throw living in a pandemic on top of it, and it seemed even more daunting. But now spring is in sight, and on the work front, there has been a great deal of things going on that have kept me positive and engaged.
