Papagaios (in the state of Minas Gerais), one of the main producers of slate in Brazil, will host, between June 1 and 3, an event focused on expanding the international presence of the segment. Promoted by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association, in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, the program will include meetings with entrepreneurs, technical visits to companies in the region, and the announcement of the Market Study on Slate in France.

More than 30 architects, designers and representatives from the U.S. construction industry took part in “Brazil Stone Experience – Washington D.C. Edition,” which was also attended by the Brazilian Ambassador in Washington, D.C.
With the vast expansion in the construction industry in the Middle East, the Brazilian natural stone sector intensifies its strategy towards penetration into the Saudi market. After a prospective program carried out in November, representatives of the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) return to Riyadh to resume the commercial dialogue with strategic actors in the country.
For the third year in a row, the Brazilian natural stone industry will participate in the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) with a strategic initiative to promote the industry, aimed at connections with architects and designers from the U.S. market. The trade show will take place from February 17 to 19, 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The initiative is part of It’s Natural - Brazilian Natural Stone, a project developed by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
The meeting will take place on January 27 in Las Vegas (USA), marking the official debut of the international strategic alliance created to promote the use of natural stone worldwide.
Despite significant declines in granite and marble exports caused by increased U.S. tariffs, Brazil’s natural stone sector recorded its highest export volume ever in November: USD 1.35 billion from January to November, according to data from the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas). This figure surpasses the previous record set in 2021 (USD 1.34 billion) and reflects the effectiveness of institutional actions that helped contain losses and sustain industry growth.
