BETHANY, CT -- Laticrete Supercap, LLC, manufacturer of the revolutionary self-leveling Laticrete® Supercap® System, recently announced Doug Metchick has been named president of company.

Reporting to Laticrete President Edward Metcalf, Metchick will work out of Laticrete World Headquarters in Bethany, CT, and is charged with preparing Laticrete Supercap for rapid and sustained growth.

Laticrete Supercap is a joint venture between Latcirete and Supercap. "With a strong background in business transformation, Doug is the perfect fit for Laticrete® Supercap®," said Metcalf. "As his remarkable resume demonstrates, he is the right person to design and execute innovative strategies that will make our time-saving, cost-effective method for finishing new concrete or capping existing slabs the industry standard."

Metchick has a 25-year track record building brands and increasing profitability. He comes to Laticrete Supercap from Morris Yachts, where he served as CEO, overseeing the luxury sailboat builder and yacht services company's five locations and 100-plus staff. He was responsible for business strategy, marketing, sales, customer service, production, finance, HR, advertising, social media and digital.

Before his tenure at Morris Yachts, he rose from the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing to CEO at LaserPerformance, the world's largest manufacturer of small sailboats. Prior to his work with LaserPerformance, Metchick founded and served as president of Penfield Marketing Group.
