Florim Magnum Oversize enters the ADI Design Index 2015

November 24, 2015

The Florim Magnum Oversize project has officially entered the ADI Design Index 2015, the prestigious ADI (Industrial Design Association) publication which annually gathers together the best Italian design in production.

The maxi-slabs, just 6-mm-thick -- also presented by Florim in the brand-new 160 x 320 cm size -- are among the 150 products selected by the ADI's permanent Design Observatory and will compete at the next edition of the ADI Compasso d'Oro Award. In particular, the slabs will be mentioned in the "Design of materials and components" macro-category together with a restricted selection of 13 proposals.

As one of the winners of the ADI Ceramics Design Award at Cersaie 2014, the Florim Magnum Oversize project stands out and enters the ADI Design Index for its great innovative content.

The extra-large ceramic slabs Made in Florim change the perspectives of contemporary design: presented in 9 sizes, with 5 different material inspirations and a thickness of just 6 mm, they push the boundaries of size for ceramic tiles and offer new types of installations to appear alongside the traditional floor and wall coverings. Tables, kitchen worktops, doors and fireplaces are some of the solutions that can be created for furnishing accessories.

The extreme workability of the product, combined with a wide range of textures and surfaces, means that it is versatile in use and can be customized, making it suitable for wall-tiling in both commercial and residential spaces.

Light, versatile, strong and with extraordinary aesthetic appeal, Magnum Oversize slabs are offered in different sizes according to the Florim brand-identities that feature the project: Floor Gres, Rex, Casa dolce casa and Casamood.
