The organizers of the Xiamen Stone Fair, Mr. Lai Guoxiang, Christabel Zhang and Shirley Chen, met with Stone World publisher, Alex Bachrach, and Marble Institute of America (MIA) Executive Vice President and CEO, Jim Hieb, in the MIA offices in Oberlin, OH, last week to discuss several ways to cooperate more in the future.

One outcome of the meeting is an education program, which will be developed and offered by the MIA, and sponsored by Stone World magazine. This program is scheduled to be held at the Xiamen Stone Fair next year, which will take place from March 6 to 9, 2016. More news will come as the program is developed.
