The Marble Institute of America (MIA) held its annual Pinnacle Awards luncheon during The International Surface Event (TISE) West.

The social gathering, which provided women in the stone industry a chance to network and share ideas, took place at Las Vegas Rock’s facilities in Jean, NV.

Surfaces, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and Tile Expo, which operate under The International Surface Event (TISE) West, featured a significant amount of new exhibiting companies and provided an arena for the latest in stone products and stoneworking technology to be displayed.

While out in Las Vegas for StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas -- now part of The International Surface Event -- I sat in on the Residential Countertop Forum, which received a nice turnout.

The exhibition was held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
