The Vitória Stone Fair | Marmomac Latin America is scheduled for February 11 to 14, 2020 in Espírito Santo, Brazil. The international stone exhibition brings together major extraction and processing companies of natural stone, equipment and machinery, and other technologies from all over the world.
Three scholarship recipients will be recognized during the Natural Stone Institute Awards Ceremony at TISE on January 28. Cody Pfeiffer (Genesee Cut Stone & Marble) and Nadia Grogan (Fraserview Masonry) will be recognized as recipients of the 2019 Natural Stone Scholarship, and Jennifer Burlak (NorthWoods Granite) will be recognized as the recipient of the 2019 Women in Stone Empowerment Scholarship.

The Natural Stone Institute has provided natural stone and fabrication services for its 23rd home with the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment). The R.I.S.E. program builds specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans and first responders. To date, Natural Stone Institute members have been involved in twenty-three completed homes.
