Lorenzo Marquez, ISFA chief of brand

March 10, 2026

INGOMAR, PA — The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) has appointed Lorenzo Marquez, founder of Marqet Group, as chief of brand. The appointment marks another step forward in ISFA’s continued evolution under CEO Laurie Weber and the leadership of its Board of Directors, as the association advances its mission as the leading fabrication association serving the countertop and surfacing industry.

In this role, Marquez will oversee the association’s marketing strategy, brand direction and growth initiatives, with a focus on strengthening the overall value ISFA delivers to its members. He will also help develop programs that support the entire countertop and surface fabrication supply chain, including fabricators, suppliers, manufacturers and industry partners. His work will center on refining ISFA’s value proposition, increasing member engagement, supporting professional standards and licensing efforts, and expanding national and international membership and engagement.

ISFA’s goal is to support the full spectrum of the countertop and surface fabrication community across all materials and market segments within the surfacing industry. From business owners and executives to shop managers and technicians, the association is committed to elevating skills, promoting education and reinforcing standards of excellence that strengthen the profession. Marquez’s leadership is expected to add meaningful value to these efforts by aligning marketing strategy with long-term industry growth and member needs.

Since becoming CEO, Weber has led a deliberate and strategic strengthening of the association’s operations. Working in alignment with the Board-approved strategic plan, she has focused on building a strong staff structure capable of executing the Board’s long-term vision. Her leadership has emphasized governance, organizational discipline, member programming and sustainable growth across both national and international markets.

“ISFA exists to serve as the unified voice of the countertop and surface fabrication industry,” said Weber. “With strong Board leadership and a committed staff supporting our strategic plan, we are focused on delivering measurable value to our members. Lorenzo brings executive marketing experience, governance insight and deep industry knowledge that will support our growth and strengthen the value we provide across the supply chain.”

The ISFA Board of Directors continues to provide strategic oversight rooted in real world industry experience. Their guidance ensures the association remains aligned with the evolving needs of fabricators and industry stakeholders, while advancing safety, workforce development, business excellence and advocacy that benefit the broader surfacing industry.

Marquez brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the countertop and surface and building materials sector. He previously served as vice president of marketing for Cosentino North America and is a two-time chairman of the board of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), where he played a pivotal role in the organization’s growth and expanded industry influence. He also contributed significantly to the development and expansion of Rockheads Group, helping strengthen its presence within the fabrication community.

As founder of Marqet Group, Marquez leads a strategic advisory firm that works with dozens of fabricators nationwide to sharpen market positioning, refine go to market strategy and drive sustainable business growth within the surfacing industry. He will continue leading Marquet Group while serving ISFA, maintaining direct engagement with fabricators and industry leaders across the country.

“I am proud to support ISFA at this important point in its growth,” said Marquez. “Laurie’s leadership, combined with the guidance of the Board of Directors, is creating real momentum for the association. My focus will be on strengthening member value, expanding engagement and supporting programs that contribute to the long-term growth of the surface fabrication community.”

This appointment reflects ISFA’s continued commitment to operational strength, industry leadership, and measurable value as it works to advance professionalism and standards throughout the surface fabrication industry.
