Neolith New Chief Brand Officer to Strengthen International Presence

ALMAZORA, SPAIN -- Neolith, a global leader in sintered stone surfaces, announced the appointment of Nieves Contreras as Chief Brand Officer (CBO). She has joined the company to lead the global strategic integration of the brand, design and sustainable innovation.

With the creation of this new role, Neolith enters a new phase focused on strengthening its international presence and evolving its brand narrative through a unified vision that brings together product, architecture, culture and sustainability.

The creation of the CBO role reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening brand consistency worldwide and elevating the strategic value of its brand across all markets. As CBO, Contreras will lead Neolith’s global brand strategy, bringing together communication, positioning, storytelling and corporate culture to further strengthen the company’s standing as an international leader in premium architectural surfaces.

This appointment reaffirms the company’s commitment to innovation, excellence and sustainability as the pillars of its future growth. “Nieves joining Neolith marks a key step in our evolution as a global brand,” said Walter Ceglia, CEO of Neolith. “Her experience in creative leadership and strategic transformation will be instrumental in bringing together our vision for brand, design, innovation and sustainability into a strong and consistent narrative across international markets. The diversification of our markets -- both geographically and across products and segments -- will also play an essential role in strengthening our positioning and supporting our future growth.”

Contreras brings more than 20 years of international experience in creative leadership and design strategy. Most recently, she served as Director of the Creativity Department (Design and Development) and as a member of Lladró’s Executive Committee, where she led the company’s brand strategy and creative transformation over the past eight years.

Her career also includes experience at international studios such as Elium Studio in Paris, along with strong ties to the academic and cultural worlds of design. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Design at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), serves on the board of trustees of the Design Foundation of the Region of Valencia and holds an international certification in Boards of Directors and Good Governance.

“Neolith represents a contemporary vision of architecture and living spaces, where technical excellence and sustainability come together with design and culture,” said Contreras. “I take on this new challenge with the goal of strengthening a global brand that is consistent, inspiring and closely connected with architects, designers, and specifiers around the world.”
