Santamargherita Unveils New Engineered Surface

PORDENONE, ITALY -- Santamargherita S.p.A. announced the unveiling of the Concerto Collection, a new series of engineered surfaces debuting at SICAM 2025 in Pordenone at Hall 6 Booth A39. Developed to meet the rigorous technical and visual standards of contemporary architecture, Concerto provides architectural surfacing solutions for projects that require exceptional consistency and durability. This new collection represents the company's latest contribution to material innovation, grounded in principles of sustainable manufacturing and long-term performance.

Conceived as a symphony of design and performance, Concerto is a surface system that brings together environmental responsibility, aesthetic precision and technical resilience. The collection responds to the evolving needs of the built environment.

Drawing from the tonal language of natural stone, the collection debuts with a composed palette of six colors: Vivace, Capriccio, Nobile, Armonia, Preludio and Dolcissimo. Each tone is intentionally developed to integrate seamlessly across a range of material contexts, offering architects a toolset that supports both expression and restraint.

The direction of the Concerto Collection was developed in close collaboration with architect and designer Giuseppe Bavuso, whose continued work with Santamargherita informs the company's product development strategy. Bavuso's input centers on responsible innovation and alignment with modern design practices, advancing the idea that surfaces must be both technical and thoughtful.

"Engineered stone carries the same responsibility as modern design itself,” said Bavuso. “The pursuit of beauty must never come at the cost of the environment. We are called to create with care and to honor the materials we inherit."

What distinguishes Concerto is not only its advanced technical composition, but its conceptual grounding in restraint, discipline and continuity. The collection is the result of a collaborative design ethos that places value on longevity, repeatability and environmental accountability. Guided by the perspective of Bavuso, Concerto emerges as an admirer's response to nature.

Attendees of SICAM 2025 are invited to preview the Concerto Collection and speak with the Santamargherita team about the company's ongoing product development in engineered stone. The collection will be presented alongside other core offerings that support sustainable construction and refined surface solutions.
