Marmomac 2025 Presents STONE NEXT: Innovation in Natural Stone

VERONA, ITALY -- At the 59th edition of Marmomac, scheduled for September 23 to 26, 2025 at Veronafiere in Verona, Italy, the STONE NEXT exhibition curated by Giorgio Canale will showcase how natural stone is shaping the future of design, architecture and sustainable living.
Set within The Plus Theatre in Hall 10, STONE NEXT highlights cutting-edge projects, including ETH Zurich’s 3D-printed stone floor made with 80% recycled material, Julia Schwarz’s Symbiosis project blending Pannonia stone with natural lichen growth and live demonstrations from the historic Stonemasonry School of Brač. Also featured will be new marble home design objects developed by University of Pisa students in collaboration with Le Donne del Marmo and La Casa di Pietra, and cross-sector innovations such as Fili Pari’s MARMMORE®, a sustainable textile made with marble powder.
By combining research, craftsmanship and experimentation, STONE NEXT reaffirms stone as a versatile, sustainable material central to tomorrow’s design and architecture.
