VERONA, ITALY -- Authenticity, sophistication and environmental awareness. These elements will serve as the guiding principles of the talk “Brazilian Natural Stones: Inspiring Versatility,” which will take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 4:45 p.m. at the auditorium in Hall 1 at Marmomac, scheduled for September 23rd to 26th in Verona, Italy. The meeting will bring together Amanda Ferber, the founder of the international platform Architecture Hunter, and Fábio Cruz, the vice president of the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas), in a chat specifically geared towards architects and designers.
Renowned for having the greatest geodiversity in the world, Brazil has more than 1,200 cataloged varieties of natural stones. This wealth is expressed with unique colors, textures and patterns that expand creative possibilities and provide the global market with materials that combine beauty, identity and innovation.
Besides aesthetics, the lecture will also highlight the sustainability of Brazilian natural stones, which feature low carbon emissions, water reuse and high durability -- characteristics that make them a choice that is aligned with the demands of contemporary design.
More than a discussion about materials, it will be an opportunity for inspiration -- an invitation to explore how Brazilian nature can broaden the horizons of architecture and design, turning ideas into timeless and conscious projects.
For the first time in Marmomac’s history, a country will have an entire pavilion devoted to its companies, and it is Brazil that has earned this exclusive space. This unprecedented presence brings together the strength of the Brazilian industry in one of the most prestigious areas of the fair, Hall 1, reaffirming the country’s leading position in the global natural stone market.
Space It's Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, presented by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) in partnership with ApexBrasil, is among the highlights of the pavilion. It will bring together 31 Brazilian companies. The initiative increases the international visibility of the industry among global architects, designers and buyers, and calls attention to the diversity, quality and sustainability of Brazilian natural stones.
