CMS: A Manufacturer of CNC Machinery to Produce High-Quality Stone Products

CMS (Construction of Special Machines), founded by Pietro Aceti in 1969, warmly welcomed the Stone Fabricator’s Alliance (SFA) Italy Tour into its headquarters and production facility in Zogno, Bergamo, Italy. The company has focused on manufacturing machines and systems to shape materials, starting from the customer's needs, since its origin.
While today CMScovers multiple industries -- from composites and plastics to metals and wood -- it has been deeply rooted in the stone industry. In the 1980s, the company -- working under Brembana Macchine -- is credited with building one of the first stone machining center. That heritage still shapes the division’s identity -- solutions geared to preserve the beauty of stone while unlocking production speed and efficiency.
After arriving and being treated to a delicious lunch cooked by its own in-house cooking staff, the SFA group was virtually greeted by the team from CMS North America – Benji Corti, Cevin Moberly, and Alex Bores. The U.S. representatives, as well as the team in Italy, assured the group of fabricators that customer service and technical support are a top priority for them.
After the presentation, the group was guided through a walkthrough of the production facility, where they watched machinery being built, as well as in operation.
