ANN ARBOR, MI -- Motawi Tileworks (The Tileworks), located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has released two vibrant new art tiles: 4- x 4-inch Peony Bloom and 4- x 8-inch Puffin Profile (shown above). Peony Bloom ($40), is the latest addition to Motawi’s extensive florals collection. The 4- x 4-inch tile is available in Grey Blue, Indigo, Pale Blue and Red colorways.

Puffin Profile ($64), based on a design by midcentury modern artist Charley Harper, is The Tileworks’ most recent collaboration with the Charley Harper Art Studio. The 4- x 8-inch tile is available in Cream, Light Blue and Ocean Blue.

“Both of these tiles were trickier to design than I expected,” said Nawal Motawi, owner and artistic director of Motawi Tileworks. “The 4- x 4-inch Peony Bloom is for peony lovers who like our smaller tiles. Puffin Profile is the result of a design process that required repeated paring down while still maintaining the unique features of this charming sea bird.”
