NSMotif Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary with Giveaway This Summer
SANFORD, FL -- NSM Florida Enterprises, also known as NSMotif, announces 10 years of achievement helping clients bring their dream countertop visions to life. As one of the few female-owned fabricators in the industry, NSMotif has noted significant growth since its establishment in 2008.
In the last decade, the business has become one of the highest producing surfacing companies in the area, boasting $8 million in revenue in 2016. According to the Orlando Business Journal, NSMotif is ranked as one of the top 10 manufacturers and number 10 out of 40 largest women-owned businesses in central Florida. The company was also nominated among five other businesses for Stone World Magazine’s Fabricator of the Year Award in 2017, an honor bestowed among stand-out companies.

Founder and owner, Karen Roe began NSMotif with a desire and passion for improving the education behind and experience of buying and installing countertops for customers who find themselves overwhelmed with such projects.
“We started NSMotif 10 years ago with a client-first philosophy and a goal to make shopping for countertops easier, with integrity,” said Roe. “It’s been a challenging but rewarding journey to accomplish this major business milestone, after having started with only an idea born out of my living room. I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come and look forward to what’s to come in the next decade.”
Throughout the years, NSMotif’s full-service fabrication facility has worked on thousands of residential jobs with retail clients, designers and home builders, as well as large commercial projects, including installations for Disney and Universal. Featured in articles based on her professionalism, knowledge and experience, Roe has become widely well known in the surfacing community. Endorsed by the Natural Stone Institute and ISFA, she is certified to teach continuing education courses for architects, designers, and kitchen and bath designers. She has also recently obtained a Stone Forensic certification which certifies her to consult, inspect, and if needed, testify regarding stone failures based upon her experience, training and knowledge.
Roe is also a charter member of the Rockheads Group, an exclusive invitation-only group of leading stone fabrication businesses focused on raising fabrication standards and promoting industry best practices. “Karen is one of our original members and has contributed tremendously to the growth and professionalism of our group,” Jon Kaplan, Managing Director of the Rockheads Group noted. “We have also valued her integrity with co-workers and serving clients alike.
