Classic Marble Restoration, Inc. Completes OSHA/GHS-SDS Training Program

June 15, 2016

PLANTATION, FL-- Classic Marble Restoration, Inc. (CMR), a leading marble restoration company in south Florida, recently completed the 10-hour 1915 OSHA/GHS-SDS training program. CMR's owners and employees are not only experts in the field of hard surface cleaning, polishing and restoration, but now have also passed a 10-hour Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training course that focuses on the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of the classifying and labeling of chemicals and safety data sheets (SDS).

"Here at CMR, we are committed to personal and workplace safety," said Devin Vance, owner of the company. "We are concerned not only for the safety of our valued employees, but also for our clients. OSHA training is not only mandatory, but it helps to demonstrate our views on safety and professional craftsmanship to our customers."

This OSHA GHS-SDS training program results in a valid Department of Labor (DOL) and OSHA 10-hour card. The OSHA10's training course teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. Initiatives such as this have helped CMR earn and maintain their A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

The company, known for perfecting marble, travertine, limestone, granite and terrazzo for nearly 20 years, specializes in cleaning, polishing, restoring and maintaining residential, commercial and sea-faring surfaces. Employees are experts in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. They have worked in countless areas of commercial properties including hotels, condos, bars/restaurants and offices, and are extremely experienced working on yachts.
