Machine of the month: The Beast7
Lackmond Products, Inc., a leading supplier of diamond tools, carbide tools and equipment, recently created a joint venture with Delta designing a new 7-inch wet tile saw. The Beast7, 7-inch tile saw offers virtually the largest rip and diagonal cutting capacity in its class. It is capable of performing a diagonal cut on a 18- x 18-inch tile, and it can execute a 24-inch rip cut.
Lackmond’s new 7-inch Beast tile saw is designed with a heavy-duty rail system, engineered for exceptionally straight, accurate and smooth cuts. It is equipped with a powerful tilting 13 AMP motor to ensure accurate 22.5- and 45-degree bevel cuts. The Beast7 weighs only 48 pounds and comes with an innovative snake pipe water nozzle, which allows for precise water control and placement. The durable steel pipe saw frame is constructed to withstand the toughest conditions.
“We listened to the tile contractors and designed a 7-inch saw that is a powerful and offers the same cutting capacity as most 10-inch saws on the market, at a much better price point,” said Ted Skaff, vice president of marketing.
Lackmond Products offers a three-year warranty on the Beast7, 7-inch wet tile saw.
