QUONSET POINT, RI -- Don and Angela Conte of AC Stone, LLC, have acquired the fabrication facility formerly operated by New England Stone, LLC. The new company, Structural Stone, LLC, is in full operation and is a full-service stone fabricator based in Quonset Point, RI.

The 60,000 square foot plant sits on 8 1/2 acres and has a broad range of equipment that includes three gangsaws, seven CNC single-wire saws, one CNC multi-wire saw, one 11-foot splitter, two 10-foot, 5-inch diameter saws, seven standard bridge saws, one Breton polishing line and one multi-head saw for pavers.

This plant has been responsible for the fabrication of significant projects such as the National World War II Memorial in Washington, DC as well as 300 Madison Avenue and the Time Warner/AOL Building in New York City.
