Stone Interiors, a natural stone fabricator and wholesale distributor, with fabrication facilities in Loxley, AL, and Columbia, SC, has opened a new sales office in New Orleans, LA. The new facility will service the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Southeastern Louisiana. John Cognevich, a New Orleans native, will be leading the New Orleans team as a Managing Partner. John brings over 10 years experience in sales and marketing to his new position. “With the recent boom in construction, post Katrina, we took the initiative and made the investment in the New Orleans office and have been rewarded with immediate results as demand for our products has substantially increased,” said G.K. Naquin, Vice President of Stone Interiors’ location in Loxley, AL.

Joining Cognevich in the area of sales is Larry Sandstrom, who has been in the stone industry for several years and also works in sales for the Alabama location. Stone Interiors New Orleans will operate as a wholesale-only distributor, working with local dealers throughout Southeast Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf Coast markets. The company fabricates natural and engineered stone vanities and kitchen countertops for residential and commercial use.
