Nearly three years ago, an idea surfaced among stone industry professionals to create a platform to promote the use and benefits of natural stone above all alternative building materials. The concept soon flourished into a well-driven campaign, which is now recognized worldwide.

Today, the company has grown to own more than 12 stone quarries – in numerous varieties – and branded its name in the stone industry worldwide. But as the industry and market trends continue to evolve over time, Tab India made the decision to grow with it by opening a new factory for TabQuartz in the beginning of 2018.

Built in 1986, the Segerstrom Center for the Arts is a cultural landmark in Costa Mesa, CA. Most recently, a stunning fountain constructed of black basalt from China was designed to create a focal attraction at the main entrance to the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.

Semco Stone is nestled in the heart of limestone country. The company, which was established in 1988, is a family business owned by Edward Robinson and his three sons: Keith Robinson, Corey Robinson and Quent Robinson. It is a producer and distributor of natural building veneer stone, including full and thin sawn.

Stony Creek granite is one of the oldest granites in the nation. The site operated by Stony Creek Quarry is surrounded by a land trust and owned by the town of Branford. “We have the honor of being an intimate part of the town,” said Tom Cleveland, the company’s director of sustainability.

Established in 2002, The Countertop Factory, Inc. of Raleigh, NC, has transformed over the years to become a state-of-the-art fabrication shop focusing on stone and quartz surfacing products.
