2018 has definitely been busy so far. I've traveled everywhere from Vegas to Xiamen to Atlanta to our headquarters in MI. In the last few weeks, I have visited the Natural Stone Institute’s office in Oberlin, OH, and one of our workshops in Milwaukee, WI.
Registration for the 2018 study tour in Italy, which is organized by the Natural Stone Institute (NSI), closes on Sunday, July 1. The event will include quarry and factory tours, as well as unique opportunities to explore the culture and history of Padova, Italy.
As part of their trip to the Xiamen Stone Fair, members of the Natural Stone Institute delegation participated in a one-day tour of several Chinese stone suppliers.

On Thursday, March 22, the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) and Stone World magazine held the second in a series of 10 stone industry education seminars tailored to the attendee and the topics most important to fabricators.
The Stone Industry Education seminar program for 2018, sponsored by Stone World magazine and the Natural Stone Institute, started this year’s series in Austin, TX, hosted by Arizona Tile.
