WFCA Offers Candid Leadership Insight

January 6, 2026

DALTON, GA -- The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) has announced the 2026 theme of its Leadership Live series, led by WFCA CEO Scott Humphrey: Leaders for Life – American Legacy. The theme looks to the founding of the U.S. and the individuals whose sacrifice, resolve and vision shaped the nation -- offering enduring leadership lessons that remain relevant today.

Launched by Humphrey, Leadership Live is a recurring video series designed to move leaders beyond daily operations into more profound reflection on responsibility, character and long-term impact. Over time, it has become a platform for candid leadership insight, connecting timeless principles with the real-world challenges facing the flooring industry.

The 2026 series builds on that foundation by examining pivotal moments in American history and the leaders who helped define the country’s character -- not just through achievement, but through the price they paid to secure opportunity for future generations.

“America was built by leaders who understood sacrifice, accountability and service,” Humphrey said. “Their decisions weren’t easy, but they were intentional. Those same qualities are essential for leaders today.”

Throughout the year, Leadership Live will draw parallels between historical leadership and modern business realities, exploring themes such as resilience, responsibility, trust and stewardship. Each episode will challenge leaders to think beyond short-term results and consider the lasting impact of their choices on people, organizations and communities.

Leaders for Life – American Legacy reflects WFCA’s belief that leadership is a lifelong commitment. By grounding leadership development in historical perspective, the series reinforces the values that strengthen businesses, industries and communities over time.

New episodes of Leadership Live are released every Friday. Industry professionals can sign up for WFCA emails at wfca.org or follow WFCA on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X to receive weekly episodes and updates.
