Florim USA Achieves B Corp Certification

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Florim USA announced today that it has officially earned B Corp Certification, becoming the only industrial-scale porcelain tile manufacturer in the United States to achieve this distinction.

B Corp Certification is a leading global standard recognizing companies that balance profit with purpose. To earn the certification, Florim USA underwent a rigorous, independent review evaluating its environmental impact, employee support, community engagement, transparency and accountability. Companies must meet high standards across five key areas — governance, workers, community, environment and customers — to qualify.

Celebrating 25 years of producing tiles proudly Made in the USA, Florim USA continues to invest in American manufacturing and innovation at its facility in Clarksville, Tennessee. This milestone highlights the company’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and locally made, high-quality porcelain tile for the U.S. market.

B Corp Certification places Florim USA among a select group of businesses worldwide that are not only driven by profit but also by purpose and responsibility. The certification follows in the footsteps of parent company Florim Ceramiche S.p.A. in Italy, which achieved B Corp status in 2020 and renewed it earlier this year — continuing a legacy of innovation and environmental leadership.

As the only industrial-scale porcelain tile manufacturer in the United States with B Corp Certification, Florim USA stands apart for its commitment to:

Reducing its environmental footprint through sustainable manufacturing practices.

Innovating products and processes that promote a healthier, more sustainable built environment.

Creating long-term value for employees and the local community.

Maintaining transparency and accountability in business practices.

“Under the strong leadership of our President and Chairman of Florim Group, Claudio Lucchese, we have successfully validated our core values and the positive impact we strive to achieve every day,” said Rodolfo Panisi, CEO and President of Florim USA. “This achievement reinforces Florim Group’s commitment to sustainability, reflecting over 17 years of effort. It’s time to take responsibility.”
