Surface Design Show Awards Adds New Categories
LONDON, ENGLAND -- The Surface Design Awards 2026, hosted as part of the Surface Design Show which is scheduled from February 3 to 5, 2026, at the Business Design Centre in London, England are now open for entries. This year’s edition introduces 10 exciting new categories -- spanning both projects and products -- to recognize the expanding boundaries of surface design.
The new Project categories -- Lighting, Hospitality, Public Realm, Facades and Regenerative Design -- reflect the diverse ways surfaces shape and enrich our environments. Product categories, including Innovation, Digital Integration, Sustainability, Material Transformation, Heritage & Craft, and Emerging Talent highlight those pushing the envelope of technology, tradition and responsibility in design.
The deadline for entries is October 17, 2025. Designers, studios, brands and manufacturers are encouraged to enter; multiple submissions are welcome.
Finalists will be honored during an evening ceremony on February 4, 2026, with awards taking place within the Surface Design Show at the Business Design Centre, Islington.
