Fabricator Learning Event Planned by Fabricator's Choice

Fabricator's Choice
August 27, 2025

COTTAGE GROVE, MN -- Fabricator’s Choice, a primary source for stone surface manufacturing equipment and digital integration, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a value-packed event designed to deliver valuable ways to remain profitable and grow through these demanding times. The company wants serious fabricators, both start-up and long-established countertop manufacturers, to have a Fab Choice Experience -- promising fresh ways to win new customers and more profitable jobs. The event will be held on Thursday and Friday, September 11 and 12, 2025, at Fabricator’s Choice’s facility, 9850 Hemingway Ave. S. in Cottage Grove, MN.

Along with fully operational production demonstrations of its most technologically advanced stone surface manufacturing facility, participants will meet representatives from Fabricator’s Choice’s Platinum Sponsors. Burkhardt-Loffler, the manufacturer of the industry’s German engineered equipment, will be available to meet along with key experts from Mapascan, critical to maximizing correct template placement and scrap reduction.

Gold Sponsors including, Action Flow, Measure Square, Stone Profits and Synchronous Solutions, will feature speakers detailing ways digital integration from templating through job processing to installation and final job profit analysis. Demonstrations of PhotoTop 5 templating and presentations of plant layout and design consultation by Fab Choice will speak directly to the serious issues fabricators face today.

Blake Christensen of Valley View Granite in Tremonton, UT, is spearheading the Natural Stone Institute’s work to prevent silicosis in countertop production. He is joining us to deliver a valuable seminar on ways to prevent silicosis and keep employees safe by providing training, air quality monitoring, protective equipment and OSHA regulation compliance. Protecting employees from respirable crystalline silica and silicosis should be one of the most important objectives of every company in the hard-surface industry.

Expecting lively discussions on tariff issues and dilemmas among attendees and how these new costs affect marketing, sales and profitability, will be addressed by Fabricator’s Choice in open discussions throughout the event. Recommendations for inventory optimization, process streamlining, overhead cost cutting and careful monitoring of trade policies provide paths to integrating added tariff expense into your profit planning. It is a difficulty fabricators share as they search for solutions.

For PhotoTop 5.0 users, David Darby will be there with exciting new tips and tricks shared over the years of the time saving, production and profit proven system for 2d and 3d measure to machine speed and accuracy.

Fabricator’s Choice has discounted hotel reservations available for early booking. Call 888-299-8840 now to Save-the-Dates for your own …
