Coverings 2025 wrapped up the beginning of May, and show management reports it was another great success. The international stone and tile exhibition, which took place from April 29th to May 2nd at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, featured 1,000 exhibitors positioned throughout 440,000 net square feet of exhibit floor space and attracted nearly 25,000 attendees. Exhibiting companies, representing 40 countries, introduced the most advanced products in tile, stone, tools, technology, and machinery.
According to show management, Coverings has experienced year-over-year growth with increased qualified attendance, augmented education and accelerated networking. A total of 75% of attendees specify or approve the purchase of materials. The upsurge reaffirms Coverings’ position as a leading business hub for the international tile and stone community.
“Coverings 2025 demonstrated how the global tile and stone industry continues to thrive through shared innovation, craftsmanship and collaboration,” said Jamie Rich, Coverings’ show director. “This year’s show created meaningful connections across continents and professions, inspiring new ideas and elevating the future of tile, stone, construction and design.”
From guided tours on the show floor to educational sessions, live demonstrations and much more, there was a continuous stream of activity during Coverings 2025. New this year, the VIP Specifier Program was launched to provide 16 leading U.S. architects, designers and facility managers with exclusive networking opportunities, tailored show floor tours and access to customized content designed to help streamline tile and stone product specifications and support project planning.
The Coverings Lounge, located on the show floor, always had a buzz and drew a crowd. An energetic space for learning, networking and project inspiration, it hosted many interactive discussions, Happy Hours and the Rock Star award ceremony – honoring young emerging leaders in the stone and tile industry. Moreover, the Coverings Lounge was also home to the I.C.E. House Showhome Experience -- an immersive walk-through showcase produced by Jennifer Farrell Designs. The experience offered a guided exploration of the future of home design, complete with informational displays, material samples and exclusive presentations by Jennifer Farrell.
The Galvanized Lounge, situated just off the show floor, was also bustling with activity. Coverings hosted a special women in the industry luncheon and roundtable discussion one day, as well as the Coverings Installation and Design (CID) Awards.
Another attraction during Coverings 2025 was the live podcast recordings across three days, where leading industry voices delved into timely topics ranging from design innovation to workforce development, bringing a high-impact media element to the attendee experience. Stone World’s Jason Kamery filled a slot interviewing newly elected Natural Stone Institute (NSI) President Evan Cohen, who discussed NSI initiatives for the upcoming year as well as sharing his thoughts on tariffs, as a stone importer.
Scheduled for March 30th to April 2nd, Coverings 2026 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Those interested in attending can sign up to be notified when event registration opens at www.coverings.com.
