Recently, Neolith, a market leading brand of Sintered Stone, commemorated its 10th anniversary with a special exhibition which told the Neolith story and how it has become one of the world’s most innovative and sustainable surfacing materials.

Located at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Verona during Marmomac, Neolith showcased the full spectrum of the company’s surfacing solutions and systems to architects, designers, contractors, fabricators and distributors. Particularly the activation demonstrated how form and function can seamlessly combine to deliver outstanding design.

On arrival, visitors were immediately greeted by a breathtaking sculptural rainbow, surfaced in some of Neolith’s most popular and intricately decorated surfaces, including the award-winning Mar del Plata and La Bohème. A floor, in polished Lava reflected the installation, creating an optical illusion of being surrounded by Sintered Stone when guests walked through.

The Neolith rainbow then led on to seven standalone stations which introduced the brand and highlighted the various ways in which the surface could be specified as well as all the support services, solutions and additional products offered by Neolith. This ranged from bespoke patterning to proprietary partnerships and finishes.

Neolith also demonstrated how technology is helping the Sintered Stone industry evolve. This included showing how progress is being made to capture full body veining as well as a display of various experiments conducted by the brand’s research team, such as different textures, colorful glazes and steel-like metallic effects.

Sustainable attributes were also at the core of the four day event, with a stand dedicated to Neolith’s latest development, the Dry Spraying Plant. This on-site raw materials factory will significantly tighten the supply chain, improving production flexibility and stability throughout the year and significantly cutting carbon emissions.

Fundamentally, the anniversary exhibition presented a one-stop shop in which visitors could engage with Neolith, finding out why the brand has gained an international reputation for quality.

Commenting on the exhibition, Neolith director Mar Esteve Cortes said, “Over the past decade we have worked hard to establish Neolith as the market-leading brand of Sintered Stone, pioneers in the manufacturing of the materials.

“I think that the 10th anniversary exhibition perfectly encapsulated the Neolith story, our philosophy and why we are the surfacing partner of choice for so many professionals across the built environment. Integrity, creativity, sustainability and loyalty are at the heart of our business. This was an opportunity to commemorate the last decade with our community, and look forward to the next ten years of working with our partners and watching our businesses grow and prosper together.”
