Top Surface Industry Executive Arik Tendler Appointed CEO and President of Cambria-California

Arik Tendler
September 25, 2019

LE SUEUR, MN  –  Cambria is pleased to announce that industry veteran Arik Tendler has been appointed CEO and president of Cambria–California.

Tendler joins the Cambria family with 30 years of experience in the surfaces industry. Arik was raised in a stone fabricating family that was one of the first fabricators for Caesarstone in Israel. He launched Caesarstone’s business in the United States from his base in California in 1999 and grew its business exponentially.

“Arik brings tremendous skill and experience to our Cambria leadership,” said Marty Davis, CEO and president of Cambria. “His vast knowledge of the industry and many excellent relationships will serve Cambria well. I’ve known Arik for many years; we’ve been competitors, personal friends, and now we become teammates at Cambria. I am both anxious and excited to work with him, as is our entire management team. His tremendous success precedes his joining Cambria, and has proven him to be a strong leader and an outstanding businessman.”

Arik spent the past 20-plus years in the United States quartz and stone industry and brings deep knowledge of the market, solid relationships with industry players, and the expertise to drive further distribution, sales, and fabrication throughout the West Coast.

Prior to his time in the U.S., Arik was a helicopter pilot in the Israeli army and then worked in the private sector under his father Zvi’s keen leadership.

Arik will initially be based in Los Angeles, California. Arik and his wife Debra have three daughters, Romi, Lianne, and Emmy. The Tendlers reside in West Hollywood, California.
