New Tile Roundup: Fall 2019
For this issue of Contemporary Stone & Tile Design magazine we show off the different new tile trends that are currently on the market. These range from porcelain to ceramic, large format to mosaic.
Anatolia Tile + Stone launches two new on-trend porcelain tile collections, focused on the residential and commercial markets. The inspiration for the Neopolis collection originates from a stone found in the Puglia region of southern Italy. The fine-grained limestone used is the most valuable, due to the regularity of the veins and the low presence of disturbing elements. Neopolis is available in four colors – Bianco, Beige, Moka and Gray. This collection comes in 4 x12, 12 x12, 12 x14, 12 24, and 24 x24 and a 3 x12 bullnose.

Whether they’re on the coast or deep in the heartlands, homeowners can channel the relaxing vibe of sandy beaches with Dunes series tiles from Island Stone. The elegantly drawn out subway tiles are sculpted with an offset angled surface, forming a flow of connected ridges reminiscent of wind-swept sand dunes. The tapering trapezoid relief dances across the wall surface, creating intriguing shadows while remaining contemporary and clean for long-lasting appeal.

Zoom is the macro-representation of four patterns that reflect on the organic nature of cement – Reef, Dry, Foam. The graphic motifs are proposed in the cm format, able to compose actual decorated carpets, as well as in the more classic cm format that reinterprets the traditional decorative shape of the cement tiles in a new way. The project presents a variety of graphics to be laid on the floor or wall in a random way, to leave the space with a decidedly contemporary, decorative and distinctive mark.
