TISE 2018 seeks speakers

March 9, 2017

IRVING, TX -- Welcome to The International Surface Event (TISE) 2018 Call for Presentations. This invitation is extended globally for experienced professionals to present at the largest floor covering, stone and tile event in North America. Comprised of three events, SURFACES | StonExpo/Marmomac | TileExpo, TISE is held annually at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

The event is seeking committed speakers who are experts in their field with great concept ideas and want to share their knowledge in an active setting during the annual event. They recommend proposals that are collaborative and provide an interactive learning environment across a variety of disciplines to discuss, debate, and nurture the sharing of ideas.
To submit a proposal, click https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TISE2018CFP. The deadline to submit is March 13, 2017.

The TISE Education Program offers approximately 129 hours of classroom education, off-site tours and case studies. Session formats are 60 and 90 minutes blocks and presented in introductory, intermediate and advance levels over three days. Submissions from vendors or associations will be considered, but absolutely no commercial product pitch of any kind will be accepted. If your company conducts research, you are welcome to share your white paper or case study in your presentation.

Criteria for submissions are as follows:

  • Description: Must be between 150 to 175 words explaining your session. Be concise and include your presentation hook that will attract attendees.
  • Overview: This is your main idea behind your submission; i.e. latest trend in technology, design, innovation, work efficiency, industry updates, etc.
  • Learning Objectives: List a minimum of four objectives that your audience should take-away from your session.
  • Audience Engagement: Each submission must highlight session engagement and how presenter will actively engage audience. This can include prior to the session or during the session.

Topic categories include Architecture & Design, Business, Case Study, Installation/Fabrication, Marketing/Communication, Sales, and Social Media. For questions and additional information about submissions, contact Carol Wilkins, senior conference manager, by emailing carol.wilkins@informa.com or calling (972) 536-6320.
