CLEVELAND, OH -- The Rockhead Group USA, LLC (RGU) consists of a national membership base stretching coast to coast with a presence in over 80 locations. The group participated in its annual Summer Benchmarking retreat this June 12 to 14in Utica, MI.

The forum for dialogue regarding reaching optimum performance and organizational efficiency was hosted by BACA Systems and KUKA Robotics.

BACA Systems, a vendor partner since the formation of the RGU, is the manufacturer of the state-of-the-art Robo SawJet, a high-production dual table, powered by KUKA, which integrates both a high-pressure abrasive waterjet and 20HP direct-drive saw.

The trade group met daily at the KUKA conference center. The retreat featured a tour of the world renowned KUKA robotics factory. A pioneer in robotics and automation technology, KUKA Robotics is one of the leading manufacturers of robotic systems worldwide. Founded in 1898 in Augsburg, Germany, KUKA has over 25 subsidiaries worldwide and employs over 12,000 workers. The KUKA plant in Michigan is the U.S. corporate headquarters and the location of its training center.
