NORCROSS, GA -- GranQuartz, a supplier of tools and equipment to stone fabricators and concrete professionals across the U.S., has moved into a new headquarters and primary distribution center to accommodate its continued growth. The new facility in Norcross, GA, just 20 minutes from their previous location, expands both the headquarters office space and the primary distribution center capacity, and includes a larger retail store.

The new facility doubles GranQuartz's previous distribution center space to 62,000 square feet, and serves as the primary distribution facility. It houses nearly 12,000 items, shipping directly to customers and to the GranQuartz west coast distribution center in Commerce, CA, and to the 12 stores and shipping locations across the U.S.

"As we grow and expand our offering we saw the need for a larger facility to allow us to more efficiently manage our extensive inventory," said Rick Hudson, vice-president of operations. "We chose a location large enough to accommodate our current inventory levels and to allow for our anticipated growth."

Along with the additional warehouse space, the new facility also expands the GranQuartz headquarters, which includes customer care, accounting, purchasing, product management, marketing and executive offices. They now have the room to add to their teams as needed.

"We are dedicated to offering the broadest offering and best service in the industry," said

Dan Davidenko, GranQuartz president and CEO. "Our expansion to the larger facility reflects the necessary investment to accommodate our growth and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers."

The new, expanded distribution center has allowed GranQuartz to increase inventory on the most popular items, including large material handling and capital equipment items. The facility also includes space for indoor and outdoor product testing areas.
