Lapitec, one of the world leaders in the production of machines and plants for processing stone and natural engineered stone products, recently appointed Mike Kelliher, as its new North American Area Manager.

Kelliher, a 20-year veteran of the surfacing industry, held prior leadership positions for Formica and LG Surfaces. In his new position, he will be responsible for driving the product's brand recognition and growth.

Kelliher was a leader on the team that brought LG HI-MACS^® and LG Viatera^® to market as new products, and is focused on doing the same for Lapitec^® in the U.S. and Canada.

"My goal with Lapitec^® is to build a strong partnership with independent wholesale distributors to represent Lapitec^® throughout the region," said Kelliher. "Day to day efforts will be focused on supporting those companies and their sales and specification staff."
