Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, along with 14 cities of the southern region of Espírito Santo, composes the Local Productive Arrangement (LPA) of dimensional stones and stands out as the largest producer and exporter of dimensional stone in Brazil, and of recently, both of the Americas.

The region, which contains some of the largest marble quarries in Brazil, shelters a range of stone companies, which highlight the stone goods, machine and equipment industries. It's within this scenario that Cachoeiro Stone Fair is realized, which is celebrating its 40th edition this year. Since its inception, the show has been uniting exhibitors and visitors together from various parts of the world and around Brazil. The fair has been strongly expressing the dimensional stone evolution in marketing knowledge, technology and innovation.

To celebrate its 40th edition, the international marble and granite fair, which will be held from August 25 to 28, 2015, will be returning to the Parque de Exposição Carlos Caiado Barbosa in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Brazil. Organized by Milanez & Milaneze, a subsidiary of Veronafiere, the fair will be held daily from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with entrance permitted until 7 p.m. Registration is required and entrance is free for all registrants; registration can be completed via the fair's website.

Last year, the show welcomed 25,000 visitors from all over Brazil and around the world, as well as 220 exhibitors from various segments in the industry. With 30,000 square meters of exhibition space that the Parque de Exposição Carlos Caiado Barbosa has to offer, last year it was reported that 68% of exhibitors came from supplies, machinery and equipment sector, and 32% from the stone sector -- which is only expected to grow this year.

According to Milanez & Milaneze, the Cachoeiro Stone Fair presents a unique opportunity to negotiate and establish partnerships with fabricators, distributors and importers, while also learning about the newest innovations in machinery, tooling and equipment as it relates to the stone industry.
