There are several patterns of Tangent — Apex, Astral Night, Chevron, Facet, Honeycomb, Ipanema, Lattice, Merge, Prism, Ripple, Vector and Zephyr — which are all offered in Calacata with a honed finish. Tangent is applicable for residential and commercial applications. The new Royal series by Arizona Tile is a rectified color body porcelain. The natural irregularity and texturing of real wood floors is applied to these porcelain tiles. A special brushing process creates a realistic look reproducing the variety of shades seen in handmade floors. The series is available in one size — 29 ½- x 29 ½-inch x 10 mm — and four color combinations: Royal Nut, Royal Nut Deco, Royal Sand and Royal Sand Deco. It’s suitable for residential and commercial applications, interior and exterior.

At the beginning of this year, StonePeak Ceramics introduced its new porcelain collection, Plane, which is the first patented 5- x 10-foot panel of its kind. This collection is heat- and frost-proof, mold resistant, crack- and flame-resistant, and energy efficient. Applicable for residential and commercial spaces, interior or exterior, on most areas including floors and walls, Plane is offered 15 colors. In addition to 5 x 10 feet, Plane tiles are also available in 5 x 5, 2.5 x 5, 2.5 x 2.5 and 1.25 x 2.5 feet.

MS International, Inc.’s (MSI) new ceramic tile series, Highland Park, is based on three unique subway tiles, with a handmade look including coordinating mosaics and trim pieces. This collection offers a customizable option that gives each customer the ability to create their own design style. These items can be installed as standalone looks or combined with natural stone. The collection is available in three base colors — Whisper White, Dove Gray and Antique White — and a range of shapes and sizes. The arabesque shape is the line’s newest addition.

The Rhombus Collection by Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Equipe Ceramicas is a new porcelain floor and wall tile series. It’s available in 6- x 10-inch pieces, and is offered in nine colors — White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Black, Cream, Taupe, Green, Violet and Red — with a choice of four different textures. In Lunada Bay Tile’s new Venetian collection, artisans fuse 18K yellow gold and white gold with handcrafted glass tile to create a surface that glows with warmth and luxury. Venetian is perfect for pools, spas and feature walls, but can also make a design statement on its own or as a jeweled accent with other tile collections. It’s available in two sizes, ½- x ½-inch mosaic and ½- x 1-inch mini brick, and two textures: smooth and wave. A 50/50 blend of smooth and wave is also available.

Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Ceramiche Caesar S.p.A. introduces its new porcelain stoneware line, One. With One, the sense evoked by traditional terracotta and the contemporary mood of cement in architecture find the perfect merger to create a unique style. The line is available in four sizes — 60 x 120, 75 x 75, 60 x 60, 30 x 60 cm — and six different colors — Gesso, Cement, Ground, Rope, Mud and Indigo. One is applicable for indoor commercial and residential venues, floor and wall applications.

Savanna by Mediterranea is an inkjet rectified porcelain tile series that embraces the textured look of fine woods. Available exclusively in a 9- x 36-inch format with a 4- x 36-inch bullnose trim, Savanna perfectly replicates the directional graining and shading present in real trees. Using Mediterranea’s Dynamic HD Imaging™ inkjet technology, Savanna comes in four colors — Smoke, Saddle, Oak and Linen.

Inspired by the look of luxurious French marble is Florida Tile’s latest line, Marquis HDP - High Definition Porcelain©. The line is available in five colors — Grey and Beige Breccia, Carrara, Crema Marfil and Light Emperador. Made in the U.S., Marquis HDP is offered in a smooth, natural finish in porcelain floor tiles and a glossy surface in ceramic wall tiles, and includes up to 40% pre-consumer recycled content.

Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Lea Ceramiche introduced its porcelain line, Fence, which mimics the look of real woods with a strong variation. This tile brings a mix of energetic colors from the earth combined with striking patterning to add a dynamic touch to the environment. Colors include Country Morgan, Rustic Pinto, Sand Mustang and Ash Appaloosa. The Fence collection is available for floor applications in 8- x 36-inch pieces with a bullnose trim.

Mixing mediums in floors has never been easier with Fontanella™ by Marazzi USA. This color body porcelain tile seamlessly integrates the natural looks of stone and wood in a truly unique collection; some tiles bear a wood look, others reflect stone, and still other pieces masterfully mix sections of wood and stone looks onto one tile. These tiles — available in two sizes, 12 x 24 and 12 x 12 inches — are pressed instead of rectified to create calibrated edges that offer a more authentic style and feel. The collection comes in five colors: Silica, Caldera, Bedrock, Mafic and Magma, and is recommended for interior floors, walls, countertops and exterior walls in both residential and commercial applications.

Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Alttoglass released its new mosaic tile collection, Titanio. The collection, which also comes in special shapes, is available in 1- x 1-inch tiles that come in 13 ½- x 13 ½ -inch sheets. A variety of colors are available, both solid and blended, which include Caramelo, Canela, Menta, Lavanda, Kalahari, Libia, Sahara, Siria and Gobi. In addition, there are five decorative pattern designs available that incorporate two different-colored tiles known as “Décor Cruz;” colors include Blanca Caramelo, Blanca Canela, Blanca Menta, Caramelo Menta and Blanca Lavanda.
Each year, new developments in tile product lines continue to prove amazing — whether it is because of the authentic-looking surfaces that mimic natural materials such as wood or stone, large formats or non-traditional shapes, or the assortment of surface textures.
