CHESTERTOWN, NY -- Building Stone Institute (BSI) will unite with five other stone industry organizations to form the Natural Stone Academy (NSA). The NSA will offer in-booth education sessions at the AIA National Expo in Chicago, IL, June 26 to 28. Teamed with Indiana Limestone Institute, Natural Stone Council, Marble Institute of America, Veronafiere/Marmomacc Americas and Hanley Wood Exhibitions, the BSI will contribute to the eight, one-hour CEU sessions given in their NSA Learning Lounge.

Natural stone topics will range from basics of natural stone, care and maintenance, thin veneer, anchoring systems, and building information modeling (BIM) for stone.  An exclusive overview of the industry's new sustainability standard will be part of two sessions on sustainable stone building. Visit AIA Expo booth #3806 for the NSA Learning Lounge and booth #3807, the associations' exhibit counters. 

Join them there Thursday, June 26 at 3:00 p.m. for BSI's "Meet the Winners" reception – celebrating their 2014 Tucker Design Award winners honored earlier in the week.
