StoneInfo.Com was launched by its creator in 1999 following more than 10 years experience in the stone industry. The Web site is structured with a focus on the needs of architects, specifiers and general contractors who require technical information that is often not so easy to come by. The site also offers information on producers and distributors, aimed at simplifying the supplier selection process for those who specify or purchase stone and stone related products.
Natural-Stone.Com was established in 1996 and has served as an information source for the consumer looking for information pertaining to natural stone and related products. It was also intended for stone industry businesses looking to target other stone-related businesses as well as the builders, developers, wholesale and retail consumers.
By partnering up, the two sites hope to expand and offer more information as well as improve mutual sectors that are common to both sites. Neither site requires visitors to register, and new areas for the site are in development.
