Marble & Granite, Inc. announces exclusive New England Distribution of Colorquartz

April 1, 2014
Westwood, MA-- Marble & Granite, Inc., a leading distributor of natural stone surfaces, has announced its partnership with ColorQuartz. Effective April 1, Marble & Granite, Inc. will serve as the exclusive distributor for the Northeast, covering territory from ME through NY, as well as southern Canada. The company will offer 40 shades of ColorQuartz at its two showroom locations. "Roughly 14 years ago, we introduced quartz to the New England marketplace when we began marketing and selling Caesarstone," said Gian Luca Fiori, owner of Marble & Granite, Inc." At that time, quartz was essentially an unknown product.

We recognized then the features and benefits that this innovative material would provide, and knew that it was a surface that consumers would soon come to trust." Never one to shy away from bold moves that help propel the industry forward, Fiori and his experienced management team made the decision to replace their previous quartz brand with ColorQuartz.

"We made this decision based on the exceptionally high quality of the material, a larger slab size (124 inches x 62 inches) and faster lead times from the factory to warehouse, as well as competitive pricing," said Fiori. Made with quartz, one of nature's hardest minerals and through revolutionary technology, ColorQuartz has created this modern, natural and green surface material. ColorQuartz Surfaces are non-porous, stain-resistant and practically maintenance-free, making it a beautiful yet practical choice for commercial and residential interior applications.
