"Volcano" by Altoglass is a completely new product line that imitates pearls. The new collection by the Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer is made with pressed glass. The round surface is an innovation in glass mosaic products, reports the company. The Volcano Collection is available in six solid colors and six blends.

Apavisa presents its new collection Archconcept -- meaning "Architecture without limits." Based on the latest manufacturing technology and research of current trends in architecture, Apavisa has been able to create a new philosophy of coatings, which revolutionizes the traditional concept of porcelain finishes, reports the Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer. Archconcept brings new patterns in the look of stone, metal and cement that are ideal for both interior and exterior designs.

Bedrosians Tile and Stone will present its new Manhattan Glass Tile collection -- a stylish tile that can be sleek and modern or neutral and understated. Manhattan is a favorite among architects and designers because of its versatility, reports the manufacturer, adding that it can be easily paired with marble, granite or travertine. Available in 12 unique colors -- from soft blues and greens, beige tones, white-whites and grays to jet black -- there are also eight glass blends and 12 stone blends with glass. The Manhattan Glass Tile collection is offered in five different sizes in matte or a translucent gloss finish.

"Cascades" from Bellavita Tile is available for use indoors or out, and the line is suitable for all wall applications. Cascades is both highly frost and chemical resistant, therefore available to be used anywhere from residential kitchens to commercial pools, reports the manufacturer.
Coming in two modular sizes, 2 x 8 and 4 x 16 inches, with 1/8-inch grout joint, the Cascades line is recommended to be installed using a thin-set latex or polymer. It is offered in nine different colors: Winter Lake, Tidal Wave, Shimmering Lime, Silvery Ice, Surf Green, Sandy Beige, Ocean Spray, Ice Mist and Alpine Spring.

"Cottage" by Italian tile manufacturer Ceramica Fioranese is a new porcelain stoneware floor tile that evokes an unmistakably rustic feel. Using digital printing techniques allows the finishes on one slab to be transferable to a differing one. Tiles in the Cottage Collection are available in 5 x 24 inches and four different colors.

With consistent colors and hand-cut looks, Origins Glass from Crossville is a fresh take on manufactured glass tile design. Twenty colors are gracefully grouped by the natural elements that inspired them, and the five color collections, Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Universe, feature four colorways each -- along with a blended selection. The colors range from light and ethereal to saturated and dramatic, yet all incorporate a hint of iridescence and swirl that makes the line unique. Origins is made of post-consumer recycled glass. With every purchase of Origins Glass, Crossville donates to The Common Thread for a Cure, a non-profit organization offering support to families impacted by breast cancer.

Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Grespania expands the Musa series of mosaics -- widening the range of possibilities with new combinations of materials and formats; stone is mixed with metal and glass, while squares are paired with rectangles. Likewise, the series introduces new, vibrant colors such as red, bronze and ferro.

"Nextra" is a new fine porcelain stoneware collection from Monocibec that captures the harmony and simplicity of contemporary style with its strong, smooth surface. The Nextra Collection is offered in five different colors and a natural or polished finished, and can be customized in size to meet any residential or commercial space requirement, reports its Italian manufacturer. The collection is made from 40% recycled materials and is certified for bio-construction.

The Crono Collection by Mosaico+ is a tile collection designed by Giugiaro Design and made of highly durable sintered glass, reports the Italian tile manufacturer. Light, color, geometry, three-dimensional technology, and high-end design work in conjunction to give this collection a striking and energetic visual affect. The tile is made with grinded and compressed recycled glass, using an environmentally sustainable process. Both variations of this collection, Pulsar and Nova, add a sense of refined liveliness to any setting.

Novabell presents "EcoDream" -- a collection of porcelain floor tiles that use advanced HD digital technologies to recreate the warmth of wood. Due to the enormous range of tones and nuances of each tile, EcoDream has an extremely natural and vivid look. Available in the colors of Sessile Oak, Ash, Honey, Chestnut and Oak, the collection offers different formats and decorative elements for kitchens and bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms.

"Antica Roma" by Unicom Starker is a collection of surfaces designed for architecture. Inspired by the ancient charm of citta eternal, the line is available in four sizes and four colors (Cassia, Flaminia, Aurelia and Appia).
Coverings 2012 will be returning to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, from Tuesday, April 17 to Friday, April 20. The international stone and tile exhibition will feature an array of new stone and tile introductions from manufacturers around the world.
