MSI expands its capabilities in the Midwest
M S International, Inc. (MSI), a leading importer and distributor of countertop, flooring and landscaping materials, has significantly expanded its operations in the Midwest. MSI recently doubled its capacity in the region by relocating its distribution center and showroom to a new location in Elk Grove Village, IL. The facility has over 220,000 square feet of office, showroom and warehouse space in which to store more than 1,000 truckloads of MSI's products.
The new, state-of-the-art facility will be one of the largest countertop, flooring and landscaping facilities in the Midwest region. The site will stock MSI's full line of natural stone, quartz, porcelain, ceramic and mosaic product lines. The facility will exhibit a number of modern features, including a state-of-the-art showroom for tiles and slabs, new overhead cranes, RFID, contemporary lighting and carpeting in the warehouse for slab selection, and numerous computer systems for efficient handling. The over 6,000- square-foot showroom will display floors, walls and countertops in a design-friendly manner.
