LAS VEGAS, NV -- Patti Fasan, Founder of Professional Attention to Tile Installation (P.A.T.T.I.), was recently honored with the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) Joe A. Tarver Cornerstone Award at the 8th Annual TileLetter Awards program, which took place during Coverings 2011. The annual stone and tile exhibition was held at the Sands Exposition Center in Las Vegas from March 14 to 17.

Fasan, who is a skilled communicator and educator that has lectured in Europe, Australia, Canada and the U.S., was the first woman to receive this award. Her internationally-renowned training and consulting firm specializes in all facets of ceramic tile and natural stone. With over 25 years of technical research, purchasing, specifying, sales and project experience combined with certification by the Ceramic Tile Institute of America, each seminar is developed to improve the knowledge base and expertise of building, design and tile and floorcovering professionals. The firm is a registered education provider with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has offered accredited sessions for the past six years at the AIA National Convention.

Additionally, Fasan has been a frequent speaker at Total Solutions and Total Solutions Plus as well as at Coverings. She also brings her passion, experience, expertise and vision to her work as a consultant with her long-time client, Tile of Spain.
