LESTER, PA - The first open house at Alpha Stone Galleries took place in the Airport Business Complex in Lester, PA, on April 29, 2009. Despite difficulties in the worldwide economy, the open house was a key event with many stone trade attendees. After a somewhat slow morning, traffic picked up, and the event moved along. Fabricators were escorted through the warehouse full of natural stone slabs from all over the world, including long-term customers as well as first-time visitors. The event also included live music and a range of food and refreshments. “With so many companies dealing with the loss of revenue, we decided this open house would be a great way to show our appreciation to our loyal customers, and introduce new customers to our staff and our huge display of exotic stone,” stated the company.

To show further appreciation to its customers, Alpha Stone had over 25 prizes that were drawn from business cards dropped off during registration. The prizes ranged from discounts on future purchases to slabs of granite from the company inventory.
