New saw installed
RUTLAND, VT -- Vermont Quarries Corp. of Rutland, VT has installed a new wire saw from Wires Engineering. This enables Vermont Quarries to cut slabs of any thickness very quickly and efficiently, based on their customers needs. Vermont marble is utilized quite extensively in restoration work, often requiring thicker-than-normal marble pieces. It is quite common for work done many years ago to have thicker pieces. Now it is easily obtainable because of this latest addition to the growing factory within the Danby quarry.
